HPE Extended Server Hardware Warranties, Software Support, and Licencing Subscriptions

The City of Burnaby is seeking quotations from HPE Authorized Partners to supply and deliver HPE Extended Server Hardware Warranties, Software Support, and Licensing Subscriptions for HPE SD Flex SAP HANA 4s servers on an as and when required basis. The contract is intended for a total possible term of five years, with the City reserving the discretion to choose between a one-year initial term with four optional renewals, a two-year initial term with three optional renewals, or a three-year initial term with two optional renewals. Bidders must submit their quotations via the online bidding system by October 1, 2026, including specifications, corporate references, and any value-added offerings. Award decisions will be based on the best overall value to the City, considering factors such as total cost of ownership, technical ability, track record, and commercial credibility rather than the lowest cost alone. Required submissions must include Attachment A for specifications, Attachment B for corporate references, and Attachment C for value-added offerings, along with copies of all necessary support agreements for City review. Payment will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer to a Canadian bank account. The contractor is responsible for the equipment until it is approved by the City and must provide a 12-month warranty against defects from the date of delivery.
