Hydrostatic Testing of CO₂ Cylinders

Hydrostatic testing will be conducted on 21 installed 100 lb. CO₂ cylinders aboard the USCGC ALDER in strict accordance with USCG MPC R-C-14467 specifications. The scope of work encompasses the complete lifecycle of the cylinders including safe handling, secure transport to and from the testing facility, execution of hydrostatic pressure testing, documentation of results, and reinstallation of certified cylinders back onto the vessel. All services must adhere to rigorous safety and regulatory standards to ensure operational readiness and compliance with Coast Guard mandates. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, with a response deadline of July 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM, and the contract is classified as a subcontract under NAICS code 541380, managed by the Department of Homeland Security through the SFLC Procurement Branch 2. Full certification of each tested cylinder will be required upon completion.
