SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DLA Troop Support Pacific Reference Number DLATSP-18-SS-0001 CLASS VIII; MEDICAL i-STAT CARTRIDGE DELIVERIES TO THE UNITED STATES NAVAL HOSPITAL, CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, JAPAN DLA Troop Support Pacific Location: Okinawa, Japan Requirement: The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Pacific is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify local sources capable and interested in fulfilling a requirement for the procurement and delivery of CLASS VIII, Medical supplies, materials and equipment items in support of United States Naval Hospital (USNH), located in Okinawa, Japan. The Contractor shall provide i-STAT Test Cartridges to aid in the quick screening and quantification of Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Creatinine, Hematocrit, Hemoglobin and Lactate analysis at the bedside. Government-owned i- STAT analyzers are currently in use at the USNH. Therefore, the contractor shall delivery the required compatible CG4+ (72EACH), CG8+ (36EACH) and CHEM 8+ (36EACH) Cartridges for use with the existing i-STAT Portable analyzers to the USNH in accordance with the Delivery Schedule. The Contractor shall provide drop shipments of i-STAT cartridges to include CG4+, CG8+, and CHEM8 i-STAT cartridges for use with existing portable i-STAT analyzers, which are Government-owned property of the USNH, located in Okinawa, Japan. Cartridges shall have a minimum of a six (6)-month shelf life upon receipt at USNH Okinawa. Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be for a period of 12 consecutive months, commencing on November 16, 2017 and extending through November 15, 2018. Additionally, the contract will have two (2) one-year ordering periods extending through November 15, 2020. ***Please see the DRAFT Statement of Work for additional details. Place of Performance: The work to be performed and/or supplies to be delivered under this contract shall be at the designated delivery location. The primary delivery location is as follows: United States Naval Hospital (USNH) Okinawa Laboratory Department, Camp Foster, Building 960, Tarawa Rd. Ginowan City Okinawa, Japan 901-2221 Contract Type: DLA Troop Support Pacific contemplates a Firm-Fixed Priced Indefinitely Delivery Purchase Order Contract. NAICS Selection: The Government is considering soliciting using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 423450; Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in the merchant wholesale distribution of professional medical equipment, instruments, and supplies (except ophthalmic equipment and instruments and goods used by ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians). ***All interested sources who consider themselves qualified and capable in providing the medical supplies described within this Notice are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice via email to Ayako.Nakagawa.jpn@DLA.mil and Khristina.Matthews-Sandoval@DLA.mil.
