(PSC) in order to maintain (update the software for legislative changes and user requested changes) the IATS software. IATS is the only known software of its type that is capable of computing the full range of travel entitlements included in legislation and the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTR). IATS is a proprietary travel entitlement computation system used by the Department of Defense (DoD) Travel Pay Office personnel to calculate travel entitlements for both military and civilian travelers throughout DoD. PSC is the only known and sole proprietary owner of the IATS source code. Modifications and system changes can be accomplished only with access to the software code. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The anticipated period of performance for the base year period is from August 1 2009 through July 31, 2010. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government.
