The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit informal input from industry to obtain technical and/or business information for precisionFDA program planning purposes. The FDA is interested in procuring a cloud-based genomics platform and full lifecycle IT services to develop and maintain a collaborative web-based portal software. The system will be called "precisionFDA" and will allow users to collaborate on genomics scientific and regulatory research via the genomics platform. A beta-release of precisionFDA with over 2,700 community members from around the world is currently publicly available. Open source software for the precisionFDA portal is located at https://github.com/FDA/precisionFDA. See Project Background Section below for more information on the beta-release. FDA seeks for respondants to identify and further define the following for FDA's consideration: - Industry best practices and technical solutions capable of satisfying the full range of requirements described in the "precisionFDA Statement of Work (SOW) DRAFT" and the "Appendix A - precisionFDA Capabilities Statements DRAFT" attached to this RFI, - Requirement additions, modifications, and deletions with rationale, and - Availability of companies, including teams, that can potentially satisfy some or all of the requirements for a production version of precisionFDA.
