The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to remove and replace two damaged metal doors and three vision glass panels at the Ontario Armory. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 132405, Metal Doors and Vision Glass Panels Replacement and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 9/11/2026, at 10:00 AM at Ontario Armory, 950 N. Cucamonga Ave, Ontario, CA 91764. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk may be considered non-responsive and may not be allowed to bid on this project. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Lana Ponomarenko at Lana.Ponomarenko@cmd.ca.gov. The prime contractor MUST possess a type B - General Building Contractor, C-17 - Glazing Contractor, and D-28 - Doors, Gates and Activating Devices license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB). If the prime contractor does not possess a C-17 and/or D-28 license, then they shall hire a subcontractor(s) with a C-17 and D-28 license.
