The United States Coast Guard is soliciting proposals for the Response Boat Small Third Generation (RB-S III) program to recapitalize its aging fleet of 29-foot RB-S II platforms. This total small business set-aside acquisition involves the design, production, testing, and delivery of up to 440 boats and associated purpose-built trailers, along with logistics support, technical documentation, and crew familiarization. The contract is structured as an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle with an anticipated ten-year ordering period, consisting of a two-year base period and an eight-year option period.
