NOTICE OF AWARD AND NOT A SOLICITATION THIS SYNOPSIS IS POSTED TO ANNOUNCE THE AWARD OF A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO AURORA IMAGING TECHNOLOGY, INC. FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENACE SERVICES OF IMAGING EQUIPMENTS. THIS IS ALSO TO NOTIFY FUTURE PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS THAT MAY BE QUALIFIED AND INTERESTED TO LET US KNOW IF THEY WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR FUTURE SIMILAR SOLICITATIONS . ANNOUNCEMENT: THE WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNMMC) ACQUISITIION MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, BETHESDA, MD ON BEHALF OF THE WRNMMC DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGY, IS ISSUING THIS NOTICE OF AWARD OF A SOLE SOURCE PROCURNMENT UNDER URGENT AND COMPELLING CIRCUMSTANCES. THE CONTRACT IS AWARDED IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE GOVERNMENT USING BEST VALUE AS PIMARY AND PRICE AS SECONDARY FACTORS OF EVALUATION. THE CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SERVICS FOR WHICH AFTER REVIEWING THE REQUIREMENTS, THE GOVERNMENT DETERMINED TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE. UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.301 ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THEREFORE, THIS IS A NOTICE OF AWARD AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETETIVE PRICE QUOTE. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO SEEK COMPETETIVE QUOTE ON THIS PROCUREMENT HAS BEEN MADE AND ANY RESPONSE TO THIS NOICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. THE CONTRACT AWARD IS MADE USING SAP. END OF ANNOUNCEMENT.
