Description of the Requirement:The Skills and Employment Branch (SEB) at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) requires the services of a Contractor to: 1) Complete a review of ESDC skills and employment program evaluation reports and other relevant literature based on the research questions; and 2) Engage with the following target population on the research questions below and report on findings.Individuals from equity-deserving groups who meet at least one of the following criteria:Received EI benefits and used Job Bank within the last 3 years to find a job; orWere unemployed within the past 3 years and used Job Bank to find a job; orWere employed within the past 3 years and used Job Bank to find another job.The findings from this research will inform the development and implementation of SEB policies and programs in order to make skills and employment programs more accessible, inclusive and responsive to the different labour market needs of individuals. This can include developing new programs or adjusting current programs, as well as pointing to areas requiring further research.Proposed Period of Contract:The proposed period of Contract shall be for contract start date, to February 29, 2024.
