INDEFINITE DELIVERY ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES CONTRACT FOR MECHANICAL-ELECTRICAL ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES, VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Alaska District is establishing an indefinite delivery, firm fixed price multiple award task order contract for mechanical and electrical architect-engineer services. This 100 percent small business set-aside is procured under the Brooks Act and is intended to support the study, design, renovation, repair, and modernization of systems across various locations in Alaska, primarily within arctic and subarctic environments. The government anticipates awarding three to five contracts with a shared capacity of 40 million dollars over a five year term. Task orders are expected to range from 150,000 to 2 million dollars, with a maximum limit of 20 million dollars per order. The scope of work encompasses electrical power and communications, information management systems, airfield lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, utilidors, and specialized fire protection systems including AFFF and high expansion foam. Required deliverables include AutoCAD drawings, BIM modeling, and cost estimates using M2 software. Contractors must adhere to technical standards such as ASHRAE 90.1 and UFC 3-400-01. Critical compliance requirements include a mandatory NIST score in the Supplier Performance Risk System and CMMC Level 2 certification for systems processing federal contract information or controlled unclassified information. Selection is based on specialized experience and technical competence, with a strong emphasis on prime contractor experience over the past five years.
