The City of Orange City, Florida invites Independent Certified Public Accountants who are licensed to practice in the State of Florida and who are experienced in performing audits for governmental entities to submit proposals to audit its financial statements for a term of three (3) years for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2024, 2025, and 2026 with the option of one (1) five-year extension thereafter for the fiscal years 2027-2031, subject to the mutual satisfaction of both parties. The City desires the auditor to express an opinion on the fairness with which the financial statement present the City’s financial position, results of operations and cash flows in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles, and in accordance with the provisions contained in this Request for Proposals.
