Install New Telecommunication Units Project 725-6BB-1491

Caltrans has approved an encroachment permit for T-Mobile West Corporation to install two new telecommunications antennas and replace existing radio units on a utility pole situated within the state right-of-way along Pacific Coast Highway State Route 1 at post mile 8.95 in Oxnard, California. The project also includes placing a new equipment cabinet and associated conduit in the same right-of-way, along with trenching east of the pole to establish new power connections. Excavation for the trench will not exceed 48 inches in depth, will average 12 inches in width, and extend no more than 36 feet in length. No existing public utilities will be relocated, and no additional right-of-way will be acquired for this work. The project is part of an initiative to enhance telecommunications infrastructure without altering the existing roadway or utility layout. The permit is issued under Project 725-6BB-1491, with environmental oversight managed by Mojgan Abbassi, Environmental Scientist at Caltrans District 7 in Los Angeles.
