Full Description

This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Pond-Transystems, LLC (the AE) under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Pond is the original designer of record for this project. They provided the entire building renovation/design which included the HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Interior/Exterior finishes. The additional design changes are minor considering the overall magnitude of the entire project. The AE not only provided the original design, but they developed the CADD drawings. In addition, the AE provided this design and are familiar with the buildings. It is in the Governments best interest to continue with the original designer and not re-perform site investigations, engineering services, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and regulatory review/permitting. The work includes revising the existing design to include new television cable and enlarge the showers for Buildings 1522 1524 and Building 1324. The AE will provide construction solicitation/acquisition support, submittal reviews, and answer Request for Information (RFIs) from the construction contractor. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid.
