Full Description

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to award a sole source contract to L-3 Communications in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The supplies required are available only from one responsible source and no other type of supplies will satisfy NGA's agency requirements. The contractor will provide two (2) KG-245A Full Tactical HAIPE devices, four (4) KG-245A Adapters, two (2) KG245 Spare Tactical CIK's, two (2) Unit racks, four (4) Legacy Red Eagle Manager Enterprise Editions and related five (5) year warranty. L3 Communications is the designer and sole manufacturer of this equipment. NSA accredits, manages, controls and certifies all aspects of Type 1 cryptographic devices for the Department of Defense, Military Departments, and Federal Agencies. L3 Communications is the only company certified by NSA to sell this equipment and has the capability to maintain this equipment. All responsible sources may subit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
