The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13), intends to made an award to Stanford University, Menlo Park, CA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements in the amount of $35,000.00. Stanford University's Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) is an academic research center and all rights and privileges associated with the membership shall belong to the General Services Administration (GSA) and not individual employees. All GSA employees chosen as representatives under the member-level membership will have the right to participate in the GSA member-level membership, including the use of prototype software, online training, publications, discounted rates to membership events, and participation in advisory groups. CIFE organizational membership will be established by Central Office PBS Program Offices. This membership will allow GSA positions to participate at the annual CIFE Summer Program for six tuition-free days, 3 GSA positions to participate on a Technical Advisory Committee and 1 GSA position to participate on the Industry Advisory Board. The membership specifically excludes the use of mini-internships and visit from a faculty member. The membership plan is at a cost of $35,000 for the base year. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS code is 561330. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all responses received by 5:00 pm. EST, Friday, June 18, 2021. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
