The Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate intends to award a sole source contract to MTS Systems Corporation for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of multiple presses, load frames, and a Triax system. This work supports the AFRL at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and falls under the NAICS code 811210, which covers electronic and precision equipment repair and maintenance. The decision to pursue a sole source award is based on MTS Systems Corporation being the only provider with the proprietary parts, specialized labor, and critical incumbent experience necessary to meet the performance standards required for these specialized systems. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals but allows for submission of capability statements or exceptions to sole source intent for government consideration. Responses must be received by May 11, 2026, and must comply with specific e-mail submission guidelines to avoid filtering issues. The contract’s place of performance is Goulds, Florida, and the primary point of contact is Jason Sav. Supporting documentation includes a Performance Work Statement and a Single Source Justification, which further outlines the unique qualifications of MTS Systems Corporation.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: The NAICS Code is 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.
