AI Contract Overview
The Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB intends to award a sole source contract for two Liquid Chromatograph Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer units to support the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine. This procurement falls under NAICS code 334516 for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. While this is a notice of intent for a single source award, the government is allowing authorized distributors or responsible sources to submit capability statements, quotations, or exceptions to the sole source intent. All submissions must meet the Minimum Requirements Document and be sent to Jason Sav by September 17, 2026, at 5:00pm Eastern Time. These responses will be used solely to determine if the government will shift to a competitive procurement process.
