The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Contracting Office (Code 400), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source firm fixed service contract to Keysight Technologies Inc. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 12. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared IAW FAR 6.103-1.
The period of performance shall be from approximately 31 July 2026 through 30 October 2026
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - CALIBRATION OF FIELDFOX 50 GHZ MICROWAVE ANALYZER, QTY 4EA
Calibration of the Field Fox 50 GHz Microwave Analyzers, Model N9952A, 4ea, and their respective Economy Mechanical Calibration Kits, Model 85563A, 4ea to OEM specifications by Keysight Technologies Inc. for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (N4523A) Product Line Combat Systems owned equipment as listed in the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), that follow the requirements as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). NAVSEA TAMS Technical Warrant Holder has directed these assets to be sent to the OEM, Keysight Technologies Inc. for calibration.

A determination to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
PSNS and IMF Contracting Office (Code 400) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Purchasing agent, Patrick Scott by email at patrick.j.scott.civ@us.navy.mil and Contracting Officer, Jacqueline Edgerton jacqueline.f.edgerton.civ@us.navy.mil.
