International Registration Plan Digital Solution

The Ministry of Transportation is seeking information from qualified vendors on commercially available digital solutions that can support the end-to-end administration of Ontario’s International Registration Plan (IRP) program. The ministry is interested in solutions that provide capabilities such as customer and account management, fleet and vehicle management, registration processing, payment processing, document management, workflow automation, compliance and audit functions, reporting and analytics, and integration with related transportation and regulatory systems. This RFI is intended to help the ministry better understand available technologies, delivery models, implementation approaches, and industry best practices to support the modernization of IRP services, improve the client experience, increase operational efficiency, and reduce reliance on manual and paper-based processes. Services would support Ontario’s IRP program and commercial carriers operating across participating Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions. Information collected through this RFI will be used to inform potential future procurement options and requirements. At this stage, no implementation timeline has been established.
