Invitation to Tender - Salmon Arm RCMP HVAC Upgrades

This project involves comprehensive HVAC upgrades at the Salmon Arm RCMP facility under a federal solicitation with strict clearance requirements, mandating all personnel hold FA-03 clearances. The scope includes the complete demolition of existing AHU-1, AHU-2, EF-1, and EF-2 units along with all associated accessories, valves, fittings, wiring, and thermostats, as outlined in the drawings. New rooftop AHUs will be installed with manufacturer-recommended spring curbs, and ductwork will be selectively reused or newly installed: AHU-1 will reuse existing supply and return ducts, AHU-2 will reuse the supply duct but require a new return section to connect to existing exhaust, and AHU-3 will feature entirely new supply ductwork and a new return riser connected to the existing change room exhaust. New thermostats will be installed in compliant locations according to zoning needs, and all new AHUs must be fully integrated into the existing DDC control system. Additionally, new VFD pumps and pressure differential sensors will be provided to enhance system efficiency and control. The solicitation, issued by the Government of Canada through the City of Salmon Arm, has a response deadline of June 11, 2026, and is managed by Contracting Authority Darin Gerow.
