Iredell County Solicitation for Law Enforcement Motorcycles

Iredell County is soliciting bids for the purchase of four law enforcement motorcycles to be used by the Sheriff’s Office, with the BMW R 1300 RT-P serving as the benchmark for performance, quality, and specifications. Bidders may propose other makes and models provided they can demonstrate through submitted data sheets that their offerings meet or exceed the technical standards of the specified BMW model, including a minimum 1,300 cc engine, 145 horsepower, EU-5 emissions compliance, FMVSS, EPA, and NIJ standards, along with pre-installed emergency lighting, siren systems, and radio pre-wiring.
