Issuance of General Lease – Recreational and Dredging Use – Lease 6454

The California State Lands Commission is authorizing the issuance of General Lease 6454 for Recreational and Dredging Use to the Fleur Du Lac Estates Association. Beginning June 23, 2026, the lease will span a five year term for sovereign land located in Lake Tahoe adjacent to 4000 West Lake Boulevard in Homewood, Placer County. The project is categorized as exempt under California Code of Regulations classes 1, 3, and 4, as it is expected to cause only minor physical changes with no significant environmental impact. The scope of the lease permits maintenance dredging of up to 3,900 cubic yards of sediment over the five year period. Additionally, the lease authorizes the installation and use of 22 low water buoy anchors, 12 existing boat slips and portions of four others, and various shoreline structures including a steel sheet pile jetty and breakwater with a pier and rip rap bank protection, a rock filled breakwater with a wood walkway and steel sheet pile bulkhead, and another steel sheet pile jetty and breakwater. The agreement also covers a portion of a boathouse, a viewing deck and lawn area, and submerged remnants of wood pile jetties.
