Issuance of General Lease – Recreational and Dredging Use – Lease 6454

The California State Lands Commission will issue Lease 6454 beginning June 23, 2026, for a five-year term to authorize recreational and dredging activities at Olympic Valley, California. The lease permits maintenance dredging of up to 3,900 cubic yards of sediment over the term, alongside the installation and use of 22 low water buoy anchors. It also grants access to and use of 12 existing boat slips and partial use of four additional slips. Infrastructure permitted under the lease includes one steel sheet pile jetty and breakwater with pier and rip rap bank protection, one rock-filled breakwater with a wood walkway and steel sheet pile bulkhead, a second steel sheet pile jetty and breakwater, a portion of a boathouse, a viewing deck and lawn area, and the continued presence of submerged remnants of wood pile jetties. The leaseholder is the Fleur Du Lac Estates Association, which also serves as the property owner, and all activities are to be coordinated under the oversight of the California State Lands Commission via Jason Ramos, Senior Environmental Scientist.
