ITB 2026023 - AC Repairs and Replacements

The Monroe County School District is soliciting bids under ITB 2026023 for the one-for-one replacement of air conditioning equipment at six Florida school sites, including Coral Shores High School, Marathon High School, Sugarloaf School, Key West High School, Poinciana Elementary School, and Horace O'Bryant School. The selected contractor must provide all engineering, labor, and materials for the installation of new units and the complete removal of old systems. Technical specifications require new equipment to have an EER greater than 10, use R-454B refrigerant, and utilize conventional copper-tube and aluminum-fin coils, as micro-channel coils are strictly prohibited. All outdoor equipment must be installed at least one foot above applicable flood elevations, and outdoor piping insulation must be protected with PVC or metal sheathing.
