ITB26-07 Street Sweeping And Debris Removal Services

The City of Dunwoody is soliciting sealed bids for regular street sweeping and debris removal services for its Department of Public Works Stormwater Division. The scope of work involves sweeping and removing trash and litter from approximately 107.5 curb miles of designated city streets, with all collected debris disposed of in an appropriate landfill. Services are to be performed on a monthly schedule during the months of January, February, May, August, November, and December. To minimize traffic disruption, work must be conducted between 8 PM and 6 AM, Monday through Friday. The contractor is responsible for providing and locating their own dumpsters, maintaining a 24-hour emergency contact, and ensuring all vehicles are marked with the company name. The contract is for a two-year term beginning no later than November 1, 2026, with the possibility of three optional one-year extensions. Award will be granted to the lowest reliable bidder based on price, technical compliance, and suitability. Bidders must submit sealed envelopes by September 23, 2026, including required certifications such as the Contractor Affidavit and Agreement, Federal Aid Certification, and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit. Payment will be issued within 30 days of service completion or invoice receipt. The contractor must comply with Georgia state laws, E-Verify requirements, and federal labor and civil rights regulations, while maintaining accounting records in accordance with GAAP for four years.
