The U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, NJ intends to negotiate and issue a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) "Soliciting from a single source" with Bradley Sciocchetti, Pennsauken, NJ for the required equipment, services, and integration necessary to upgrade two buildings to the existing site-wide Siemens Talon Digital Control system hardware and software currently installed in 90% of the other buildings which will result in increased efficiency and decreased downtime due to proper monitoring capabilities. Integration will also result in reduced overall maintenance costs. Market research has determined that Bradley Sciocchetti is the exclusive Siemens solution partner for the Southern NJ region able to provide Talon building automation products and services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238220 with a size standard is $14 million. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, responses received within 5 calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation and/or submission of data or other costs incurred in response to this announcement.
