EVALUATION AND REPAIR OF: NOM: CYLINDER HEAD, DIESE NSN: 7HH 2815 014115549 P/N: Y3J10830H QTY: 5 EACH THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES OR SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF RESPONSIBLE SOURCES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. NOTE TO DISTRIBUTORS/DEALERS: -IF YOU ARE A DISTRIBUTOR, YOUR QUOTATION MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A LETTER FROM THE ACTUAL MANUFACTURER INDICATING THAT YOU ARE AN "AUTHORIZED" DISTRIBUTOR. -IF YOU ARE A DEALER, YOUR QUOTATION MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A STATEMENT CLEARLY IDENTIFYING YOUR FIRM AS A DEALER ALONG WITH THE OEM'S NAME/CAGE CODE AND P/N THAT YOU INTEND ON PROVIDING. THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION WILL INCLUDE A 100% OPTION VALID TO EXERCISE WITHIN 180 DAYS AFTER EFFECTIVE AWARD DATE. BASED UPON MARKET RESEARCH, THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT USING THE POLICIES CONTAINED IN FAR PART 12, ACQUISITION OF COMMERCIAL ITEMS, IN ITS SOLICITATION FOR THE DESCRIBED SUPPLIES OR SERVICES. HOWEVER, INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO SATISFY THE GOVERNMENT'S REQUIREMENT WITH A COMMERCIAL ITEM WITHIN 15 DAYS OF THIS NOTICE.
