The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its Network Contract Office 19 in Grand Junction, Colorado, plans to award a sole source commercial purchase order for preventive and corrective maintenance services on the Philips Achieva MR system, including the coach and trailer located at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyoming. This action complies with Federal Acquisition Regulations governing priorities for government supply sources and limited source justification. Although identified as a sole source, the notice invites any responsible sources meeting the government’s needs to submit a brief technical response of two pages or less with supporting data demonstrating the ability to overcome proprietary restrictions and provide their government contract number. Responses will be considered if received by the closing date but the notice itself does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals.
