Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Dresser-Rand Company to perform grooming, minor repairs and operational testing of the high pressure air compressors (HPACs), and conduct training to Ship Force in the operation of the HPAC for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, capability statements, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror’s ability to meet all requirements. The Government will consider all EOIs, capability statements, proposals, or quotations received from responsible sources within three days of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. EOIs sent via the US Postal Service should be mailed to PHNSY & IMF, 667 Safeguard Street, Ste. 500, JBPHH, HI 96860-5033 (ATTN: Code 400 Karis Kukonu).
