Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one source will satisfy agency requirements [10 USC 2304(c) (1)]. A firm fixed priced contract will be issued to TAFA Incorporated (Praxair) for calibration and maintenance services for (1) government owned Plasma Thermal Sprayer Console and (2) Power-feeders. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-S1. The solicitation number issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) is N00253-13-T-0234 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 and has a size standard of 7 million. The government prefers FOB Destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610.
