The Government intends to award a requirements contract to procureupdated replacement hardware and depot logistics support for the Commandand Control Switching System (CCSS). To include: Contractor LogisticsSupport (CLS); spare parts replenishment; management of depot spares;technical manuals; a Depot Logistics Support Office (DLSO); FieldLogistics Support Offices (FLSOs); software support; engineering andtechnical services; switch de-installation and re-installations; supportto engineer, furnish, install and test (EFI&T) new site equipment andconfiguration upgrades; and repair of LRU's. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, orquotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services)required are available from only one or a limited number of responsiblesource(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agencyrequirements.Award will be made to Raytheon Company, 8333 Bryan Dairy Rd,Largo, FL33710, CAGE Code 00724.Additional users will be supported by the contract as they join theCCSS. Basic period from date of award through 31 Dec 2010 and four one yearoptions. The contract will contain clause 52.217-8, Option to ExtendServices. The Government may require continued performance of anyservices within the limits and at the rate specified in the contract. The following contract types will be used to support CCSS requirements:firm-fixex price, cost plus fixed fee, time and materials, andcost-reimbursable no fee. To include all required reports and data.The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient,accurate, or legible data to purchase this part from other than thecurrent source(s).
