THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The Department of Veterans Affairs VHA Network Contracting Office 7 (NCO 7), LaVista Business Park Bldg.-A, 2008 Weems Road, Tucker, GA 30084, intends to award a sole-source contract to Bayer Health Care LLC, 1 Bayer Drive, Indianola, PA 15051. The contractor will provide a full maintenance agreement which includes labor, parts, supplies and equipment to complete the maintenance on the equipment at the Atlanta Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033. Bayer Health Care LLC is the propietor of the software for the equipment which offers the Atlanta VAMC, a full maintenance agreement for the Medrad Intego PET Infusion System. All interested parties should respond, in writing, with information of desired interest, capabilities, geographic location, and indicate which category you qualify. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product to Gail Bargaineer, Contract Specialist, and Email: @ contact@example.gov, your response is required by 8:00AM on 4 Jan 2016. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. All capability statements received by the closing of this notification will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. This is an unrestricted requirement. This is for informational purposes only and not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any information submitted to this notice of intent is voluntary strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information.
