The VAMC facilities in Buffalo, NY and Batavia, NY have a requirement for maintenance on Parata systems equipment. These requirements include maintenance and upgrades on the Pharmacy 2K, Accumed Workstation, AutoLink, RDS Unit, RX Port Cell/Super Cell 601055 and RX Port Cell 601022 in Buffalo, as well as continued maintenance and upgrades for the Accusign, Pharmacy 2K, and RX Port Cell 601022 in Batavia. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, and because these services require proprietary software, parts, repairs and technical support that is specific to the equipment's manufacturer, it is the determination of the Contracting Officer that the only reasonable source is Parata Systems.
