J--Notice of Intent to Sole Source for M&R Emerg Generators

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Network Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Cummins Onan South, for emergency generator and fire pump maintenance service for the Uptown and Downtown Divisions at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia. The NACIS code is 811310 and size standard of $6.5M. This Notice of Intent is Not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties that can provide similar services or equal repair products must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of products or services, past performance information, price and delivery time, detailing how their services meet VA's requirements, to the Contracting Officer via e-mail. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
