The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD),Facilities Engineering and Operations Division, Model Shop (Code 51054) has a need for rapid prototype part services to support the Hydromechanics Department in the design and testing of Navy surface ships, submarines, and advanced craft. NSWCCD intends to conduct a competitive procurement in accordance with the procedures of the FAR Part 13.5 -Test Program for Certain Commercial Items to provide Rapid Prototype Parts Services This is a presolicitation notice only. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) N00167-08-T-0002 is anticipated to be issued on or about October 31,2007 and can be accessed via the following websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ or https://www.neco.navy.mil/. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS is 326199 and size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the agency.
