The Naval Sea Systems Command wants to conduct a market survey of private industry ship repair firms in accordance with FAR 15.201 to determine industry interest in a seven-year, Cost Plus Award Fee, Multi-Ship Multi-Option contract for repair, maintenance and modernization of LHA 1 and LHD 1 Class ships homeported in, and visiting, San Diego, Ca. This effort will include both dry-docking and non dry-docking work. Interested parties must be able to comply with FAR 16.301-3(a)(1) regarding cost type contract limitations. The requirement will start on or about April 2006 and run through September 2013.
