Full Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, on behalf of the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center at University Drive (VAPHS) intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price contract to repair two (2) loading dock overhead rolling doors. The Loading Dock Overhead Doors repair shall include, but not limited to the following salient characteristics: SCOPE: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to inspect, diagnose, repair, and restore proper operation of two overhead rolling doors located at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS). Work shall include performing detailed assessments, completing required repairs, verifying correct functionality, and ensuring all replaced components meet manufacturer specifications and facility safety requirements.
Required Repairs:
Loading Dock 5 Replace ten (10) damaged overhead door slats with new slats and install a new red emergency release rope.
Loading Dock 6 Replace the bottom bar assembly and install a new safety edge and coil cord.
Additional Requirements
Perform full operational testing after all repairs to confirm safe and proper door functionality.
Remove and properly dispose of all debris, damaged components, and replaced parts generated during the repair process.
The NAICS Code, 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance; Size standard $12.5M is to be used.
