The maintenance involves biannual servicing based on manufacturer recommendations including changing filters, oil changes, valve inspections/replacements, along with air sampling to test for bacterial or mold contaminants due to the compressors’ role in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The contract would cover labor, supervision, standard parts, inspections, testing, and any manufacturer-recommended servicing for the compressors, which operate on alternating six-month cycles. Services must comply with established standards such as NFPA-99, OSHA, and VA specifications, with work conducted during regular weekday hours unless otherwise approved. The period of performance includes one base year plus up to four option years. Respondents must be registered in SAM and, if qualified as a Veteran or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, registered with the VA’s VetBiz Registry. All maintenance scheduling and coordination will occur through the Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center in Albuquerque. The Government emphasizes that this notice does not guarantee solicitation issuance or contract award, and no reimbursement will be made for response preparation costs.
