AI Contract Overview
Contract 36C26326P0153 is a firm fixed price award issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 23 to ASCO Power Services, Inc. for the maintenance of the Critical Power Management System and Automatic Transfer Switches at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. The contract was awarded on December 29, 2025, for a total value of $109,290.00. The performance structure consists of a base period plus one option year, with all work performed on-site at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System facility. This procurement was conducted as a sole source award under FAR 13.106-1 because the equipment and associated software are proprietary to ASCO. The government determined that only ASCO Power Services, Inc. possesses the manufacturer-specific expertise, certified technicians, and authorized software required to perform the necessary troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades. Consequently, the award was based on unique capability rather than a competitive evaluation. The contract is classified under NAICS code 811310 and Product Service Code J059.
