Amendment 0001- Replacement-in-Kind Repair of Existing Perimeter Security Fence (Ameristar Impasse Trident) Brand Name or Equal
Solicitation # 36C24127Q0041
The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Boston Healthcare System is soliciting quotes for a firm-fixed-price contract to perform a localized replacement-in-kind repair of the perimeter security fence at the Brockton VA Campus in Brockton, Massachusetts. The project focuses on restoring five affected fence bays and six associated post locations that were damaged by winter snow-removal activities. The benchmark product is the Ameristar Impasse Trident system, and any proposed equal must meet all salient characteristics, including the use of corrosion-resistant, tamper-resistant hardware and a uniform transition in profile, color, and finish to the existing fence. The scope is strictly limited to the damaged sections and does not authorize any redesign or expansion of the perimeter. This procurement is a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The period of performance is scheduled from December 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027. Award will be made to the responsible offeror determined to be most advantageous based on price, past performance, and technical capabilities. Proposals must be submitted in three separate PDF volumes covering technical approach, past performance, and pricing. Following Amendment 0001, a site visit is scheduled for November 10, 2026, and the closing date for the receipt of offers has been extended to November 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST.
