Subject: SPECIAL NOTICE Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Priced contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul 12.102 (a). Award is anticipated to occur on or about August 28, 2026. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 intends to non-competitively award this requirement to Translogic Corporation. since the required service and supplies can be fulfilled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and no other source can. Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHS) at Tucson, AZ is requesting software and hardware upgrade of their existing Pneumatic Tube System, brand name Swisslog, manufactured by Translogic. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333922with a size standard of 500 employees. The applicable Product Service Code is J065. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers.
