U. S. Naval Hospital Okinawa (USNHO) Japan performs diagnostic audiology testing from infants to geriatrics at the main hospital and outlying clinics on island. The equipment used to conduct these tests require annual calibration and maintenance not available from Biomed resources within the command. Annual calibration ensures audiometers comply with strict industry standards, as well as the manufacturer's specific guidelines. Every test result must be based on the most accurate signal that can be obtained. Regular calibration of equipment ensures that the hearing level that is indicated by the audiometer complies the strict values that are set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or the product manufacturer's specific references for hearing thresholds. US Naval Hospital Okinawa and its outlying clinics requires Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified technicians capable of providing annual calibration and potential corrective maintenance services (see attached Performance Work Statement) for the following Government-owned equipment: Periods of Performance: Base: 9/19/2023 - 9/18/2024 OPT 1: 9/19/2024 - 9/18/2025 OPT 2: 9/19/2025 - 9/18/2026 OPT 3: 9/19/2026 - 9/18/2027 OPT 4: 9/19/2027 - 9/18/2028

Solicitation # HT941026R2000
Solicitation HT9410-26-R-2000 is a competitive 8(a) small business set-aside Request for Proposal issued by the Defense Health Agency Healthcare Contracting Division-West. The government intends to award five single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide OCONUS medical Q-coded services in support of military treatment facilities, specifically within the Indo-Pacific Command regions of Japan and Korea. Technical capability is the most important non-price factor, while the small business participation plan is a pass/fail requirement. Offerors must demonstrate quality management capabilities through ISO 9001 or Joint Commission Health Care Staffing Services certification. Key submission requirements include detailed disclosures of corporate relationships in the cover letter and strict adherence to the required period of acceptance to avoid being deemed non-compliant. Personnel must meet minimum qualifications defined in the contract exhibits and comply with DHA credentialing and privileging standards, as well as Status of Forces Agreement requirements for performance in Japan and Korea.
