Sealed bids for Bid Request No. 2024-058 for the Johnson County New Century AirCenter (IXD) and Executive Airport (OJC) Fencing Project shall be submitted electrically via IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net until the close date reflected above. At that time, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly read aloud via Zoom Video Conferencing at:

Meeting ID:844 7928 0899 Passcode:547691 This bid includes the following Work: Removal of approximately 1,800 linear feet of existing fence at varying heights and installation of up to approximately 10,921 linear feet of 8' chain link fence with a 3-strand barbed wire security extension at multiple points at Johnson County New Century AirCenter (IXD) and Johnson County Executive Airport (OJC). Copies of the Project Manual are available through IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net/SourcingEvents.aspx?SourceType=1 or can be downloaded for a non-refundable fee online at https://www.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution public jobs plan room; additional assistance is available at contact@example.gov. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held on October 3, 2024, at 10:00AM CT, in the Board Room located in the Admin Building, New Century AirCenter, One New Century Parkway, New Century, Kansas, followed by a Site Visit at Johnson County Executive Airport, 15335 S. Pflumm Road, Olathe, Kansas. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on October 18, 2024, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid:
Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas.
Qualifications: refer to Section 20-02 of the Project Manual for specified documentation
Davis Bacon: The Successful Bidder to this IFB is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the current schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening.
