--Joint Staff Systems Integration Support I

The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (iii) (A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to L3 Services Inc, 11955 Freedom Dr., 10th Floor, Reston, VA 20190. L3 Services Inc will provide to the Joint Staff IT systems integration for its stand-alone Top Secret network and migration to a fully information-centric classified network capable of cross-domain capabilities across multiple security networks. The transformation of this customized military network requires extensive knowledge of the current network architecture, systems, configuration, and capabilities. This tasking directly supports the interests of National Security in enhancing information capabilities for the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), Joint Staff (JS) and National Military Command Center (NMCC) in order to seamlessly access information with Combatant Commands (COCOMs), Services, Agencies, and Coalition partners. This action will result in a Labor Hour contract with a seven month period of performance. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals.
