Kinship Navigator Programs: Evaluations

This contract opportunity aims to fund the implementation and thorough evaluation of existing Kinship Navigator Programs (KNPs) to increase the number of these programs eligible for federal Title IV-E Kinship Navigator funding. The focus is on building a robust evidence base demonstrating improved outcomes for kinship caregivers and the children they care for, thereby enabling more programs to undergo review by the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse. The funding is specifically targeted at states and tribal communities that do not currently operate a Title IV-E Kinship Navigator Program. Projects supported under this contract are expected to administer KNP services, engage in collaborative planning, and conduct rigorous evaluations of the programs. A major deliverable includes a final evaluation report detailing positive impacts on kinship families.
