L -- AN/TYQ-23 (V)4 CONTRACTOR ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SERVICES (CETS)

The Marine Corps Systems Command plans to modify an existing sole source contract with Litton Navigation Systems to increase the estimated level of effort for providing support to the AN/TQY-23(V)4 Tactical Air Operations Module for the remainder of fiscal year 2003. This contract, currently in its second option year, requires additional support due to increased operational demands observed during recent real-world missions. There is no request for proposal available for competitive bidding at this time; however, interested parties may submit their statements of capability to the Contracting Officer for consideration prior to the potential exercise of the fiscal year 2004 option. This contract focuses on contractor engineering and technical services for the AN/TQY-23(V)4 system and operates under the Department of Defense's Marine Corps Systems Command office located in Quantico, Virginia. The adjustment aims to address the inadequacy of the original contract scope in supporting current operational needs, ensuring continuous and effective system maintenance and support through the end of the fiscal year. While competition is limited for this modification, the Command remains open to evaluating new capabilities that could meet future requirements.
