AI Contract Overview
This contract solicitation, issued by the Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka under the Department of Defense, seeks proposals for "LARC-936, 6R1 26-CMAV 13PKG" with a focus on operations within the Japan region. The key requirement for offerors is to currently hold an active U.S. Navy MSRA (Master Submarine Repair Agreement) or ABR (Authorized Base Repair) Agreement in the Japan region. Those who do not yet possess an active agreement must submit an approved and active MSRA/ABR Agreement as a prime contractor along with their proposal. This is mandatory to establish eligibility for the award. Only contractors authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan per DFARS 252.225-7042 regulations are eligible. Contractors located outside Japan must provide clear, unambiguous documentation demonstrating compliance with this regulation within their proposal package. Failure to meet this compliance requirement or to have an active MSRA or ABR agreement in Japan, or the willingness to execute a master agreement prior to award, disqualifies an offeror from receiving the contract. The contract will be performed in Sasebo, Nagasaki, and proposals are due by June 15, 2026. Points of contact for this solicitation include Fumika Yamasaki and Hiromi Kurita at the Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka.
