Leasing of Parking Spaces

This is NOT a request for quote. This is a notice of the Government's Intent to Award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Brookfield Office Properties pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD is made in accordance with FAR subsection 6.305, Availability of the justification. The CFPB currently leases office space to house approximately 200 employees, from Brookfield Office Properties, on several floors of 1625 Eye Street, NW. However, the building lease does not include parking. The CFPB intends to award a sole source contract to Brookfield Office Properties for parking spaces. The contractual agreement will provide for the leasing of fifty parking spaces, with the option of leasing up to an additional ten, underneath CFPB's offices located at 1625 Eye Street NW, Washington, DC 20006. Three of the fifty parking spaces must be able to accommodate handicapped accessible vehicles. The Government will not consider any quotes submitted as a result of this announcement. The approved and executed "Justification and Approval For Other Than Full and Open Competition" will be available for public review on FedBizOpps within the next few weeks.
