LED Flood Lights

The Peabody Municipal Light Plant is soliciting bids under solicitation number BD-27-2082-PMLP-PMLP-134603 for the procurement of LED flood lighting fixtures to replace existing 250W and 400W HID fixtures. Technical requirements include a 120-277V input voltage, NEMA 7x6 distribution, 4000K color temperature, and an ANSI C136-41 7-pin photocell receptacle. Fixtures must feature a Trumion mount with an external 6-foot 14/3 power cable and a minimum surge protection of 10kV/5kA. While specific models from GE Evolve, LEOTEK, and AEL are listed, alternatives are acceptable if the input wattage is within +/- 5% of the specified models. Bidders must provide firm pricing and are discouraged from using upward escalator clauses. The contract requires the submission of a bid form, a signed Certificate of Non-Collusion and Tax Compliance Certification, and references from three nearby customers. Deliveries must be made to the Peabody, MA jobsite between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with 48 hours' advance notice. All shipments must be fork-truck compatible and clearly marked with the purchase order number. Payment of 100% of the quoted price will be issued within 30 days following inspection and acceptance. The seller must comply with OSHA standards, Executive Order 11246, and Massachusetts tax laws. A one-year warranty period is required, during which the seller must repair or replace any defects at no cost to the purchaser. The Peabody Municipal Light Plant reserves the right to increase the contracted quantity by up to twice the original amount. All services must remain confidential, and any subcontracting requires prior written approval from the purchaser.
