The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract to Bermingham Controls, Inc. 11144 Business Circle, Cerritos, CA 90703. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-1. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be 11/16/2017 to 12/18/17. The contract will provide for Bermingham Controls, Inc., who has proprietary information exclusive to the manufacturer. The contractor is the manufacturers authorized repair center of the equipment for the western United States and has the proprietary information necessary to repair and maintain the equipment. NAICS code: 811490 -- Other Personal and Household Goods Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $7.5 Million) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than Nov 7, 2017 12 PM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued.
