Solicitation # RFP-VC-26-006
Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontractor to support an engagement with the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) in California. The project focuses on enhancing the agency's operational resilience framework through the development and review of a Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), and Business Continuity Plan (BCP), as well as the creation of recovery playbooks. The scope of work includes participating in client workshops, conducting assessments, and facilitating in-person tabletop exercises to identify response gaps. Preferred subcontractors will possess expertise in IT/OT resilience and experience within the water, wastewater, or critical infrastructure sectors. The overall project is estimated at approximately 1 million dollars per year with an initial contract term of three years and options for extension. Deliverables must align with FEMA Continuity Guidance Circular and Business Continuity Planning frameworks, as well as CISA and NIST standards, specifically the NIST Risk Assessment Framework. Because the project is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the contract is subject to stringent federal and state requirements, including Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions, Title VI non-discrimination, and SAM.gov registration. Additionally, this is a prevailing wage contract governed by the California Labor Code, requiring consultants to be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Proposals are due electronically via PlanetBids by November 17, 2026.

The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Adventist Healthcare, INC. The National Institutes of Health, Life Work Strategies Wait List Management, requires Child, Adult, Legal, Financial, Identity Theft and Referral Services in order to provide waitlist, R&R & family education services to the NIH community. Due to the nature of services and short turn-around time, we intend to continue services with Adventist Healthcare while a new contract is being competed to keep providing these necessary services to our community. Responses The proposed acquisition action is for items and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b). If you believe you can provide the items or services requested, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency, to the Contracting Officer, Kathleen M. Kathman, at kathmank@od.nih.gov referencing notice number HHSN263201600048P by 03:00A.M. on June 9, 2021. Solicitation # 75N98027Q00017
Solicitation 75N98027Q00017 is a combined synopsis and notice of intent for a non-competitive award by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to Purdue University, specifically the Purdue Institute for Drug Discovery. The contract supports the Bench-to-Bedside study Developing Red Cell-Specific Spleen Tyrosine Kinase (SYK) Inhibitors for Treating Sickle Cell Disease. The scope of work for the Year 1 requirement involves the synthesis, scale-up, characterization, and optimization of lead SYK inhibitors S1115 and S1213, with a delivery requirement of approximately 3 to 5 grams of each compound along with supporting analytical and potency data. The award is justified as non-competitive because Purdue University possesses the project-specific knowledge and prior research experience necessary to avoid technical risk and duplication of effort. The acquisition is conducted under FAR 12.603 for commercial items and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. Research activities will be performed at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, with deliverables sent to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. The associated NAICS code is 325411 for Medicinal and Botanical Manufacturing, and the requirement is not set aside for small businesses. Administrative requirements include active registration in the System for Award Management and the use of the Invoicing Processing Platform for three-way match payments. Responses were due by November 4, 2026, to the contracting specialist, Nicholas Capobianco.
